Altamura opened his second restaurant, Destin Chops, in 1997 and relocated eleven years later to Seacrest Beach renaming the restaurant Destin Chops 30A. Located near the popular Rosemary Beach, Destin Chops 30A fused contemporary cuisine with a classic steakhouse for the ultimate dining experience making it the premiere steakhouse in the area. In 2010, Altamura decided to shift the focus of the menu to the indigenous cuisine of the Gulf Coast, seafood. He renamed the restaurant Seagrill, which features seafood, prime steak and sushi in a modern sleek environment that is sure to delight the senses.

In early 2010 Altamura opened two new restaurants, Crush Wine Bar in Seaside and Fishbar located next door to Marina Café in Destin. Crush, located in the Central Square of Seaside, offers diners an exceptional wine list, sushi, small plates and panini’s. The intimate wine bar features outdoor covered sidewalk dining that is reminiscent of a European café. Fishbar opened the same time and quickly became the hot spot in Destin for casual dining on the Destin Harbor. With seafood, steaks, pastas and sandwiches this venue not only features amazing harbor views, but also phenomenal cuisine.
